  Mike( Bassman ) Bowman
Mike was born and raised in
Oakland, CA, he escaped in 2005 to Southern Oregon. He plans to keep teaching and
playing in the River City. He
started playing cello in third grade, moved to stand up bass in sixth
grade, then he sold KISS records and saved money to buy his first electric
bass at the age of twelve.
From slap funk to slow, steady and in the pocket, Mike plays
whatever’s grooving for “the song”.
When he’s not teaching reading classes at Rogue Community College,
he’s playing music and havin’ fun.
He thanks God for his son Scott and for Bootsy Collins.
