RCR’n’B
began in 1999 by Guitarist Vince Lombardo. He wanted to
have a band that people would really enjoy. Year’s later the band has
evolved to what it is today. RCRnB is a Southern Oregon favorite and are
the band you “can party and dance to”. Vince, lead guitar and vocals, has been playing and singing
most of his life. His style gave him the nickname “Tasty”.
· 2003 ~ Julie Lee, lead vocals and in charge of PA chords, can belt
it out with her strong, powerful voice and wonderful attitude. You can
always catch her smile and laughter. I think, I mean I know, Julie would
rather sing than do almost anything else. She’s going on her 6th
year with us, what a great time we’ve had together.
· 2007 ~ Mike Bowman, Funk ~ Funk ~ and more Funk. Bass and vocals,
all the way from Oakland Calif. to Grants Pass. It’s not really that far,
and he brought that funky Funk with him. Mike also plays a mean shuffle.
Between Mike on bass and now Mary on drums, Andy said” it the best rhythm
section he ever played with” They get so deep in the pocket we can’t stop
playing….
· 2007 ~ Andy Pimentel has played with
RCRnB many times. I finally twisted his arm and he agreed to join RCRnB.. I
can’t say what I promised him but it’s well worth it as Andy brings with
him his many years of arrangements, studio recording, clubbing, teaching
and his outstanding musical ability on the keyboards ( yea he’s even got a
MINI B3 ) and he sings and
play’s the neck off his tenor sax… Andy is a welcome asset..
2008 ~ Back in the
fold ~ Paul Olson, He’s been on swing shift, now Paulie gets his swing back into
RCR’n’B. Welcome back “R” Paulie!
RCR’n’B
has many years experience collectively on stage, performing, recording and
producing, etc. They are now taking their sound throughout the state of
Oregon and into California and Nevada. If you are looking for great music
and a fun band, look no further…. RCRnB is here!!!

wants to say a Big Thank You to Pat Alvarez our biggest supporter and Lainie
Horn for all of her hard work on behalf of the band. Lainie is the artist
